ORGANIZER FOR ADHD

The reason you’re always overstimulated at home isn’t because you aren’t tidy enough…
it’s because you have too much stuff.

If you’re drowning in doom piles, it’s not because there’s something wrong with you! It’s because no one ever taught you how to take care of your stuff in a way that works for your brain — and I can help you fix that.

Melissa Welch, a professional organizer for people with ADHD and all forms of neurodivergence, smiles at the camera and leans against a white countertop in her kitchen.

Hi! I’m Melissa – professional organizer, ADHD organizing specialist, decluttering whiz, and minimalist.

I help women (and families) with ADHD set up homes that make day-to-day life easier.

I’ve always loved organizing and decluttering (yes, even as a child!). In 2014, I stumbled upon the idea of minimalism (that) and it immediately clicked for me:

Our stuff isn’t just “stuff” — it can rob us of our time and distract us from the things that truly matter

When I became a mom, I started meeting so many other mom friends who were overwhelmed thanks to piles of "kid stuff," endless marketing, duplicate gifts, hand-me-downs and (hopefully well-meaning) mothers-in-law.

I knew it didn’t have to be like that and I realized that I could help other moms get their time and mental bandwidth back and actually enjoy their motherhood.

My core philosophy centers around the idea that everyone deserves to live in a home that feels good to them.

Being intentional about what’s in your home (and how it’s set up) can help you focus more on what you truly value — especially if you’re the kind of person who wants to…

  • Break out of the impulse buy-rage declutter cycle for good

  • Make basic household tasks, like laundry and dishes, much easier

  • Get more time back in their day

I offer services across a variety of accessible price points, starting at just $29/month for my online community (which includes over 16 hours a month of live sessions with me!) and as well as 1:1 individualized support.

In case no one’s ever told you this…

Your clutter is not your fault.

It has never in human history been this easy to acquire stuff. We’re bombarded every day with thousands of advertisements and influencer links, all promising to “fix you” and be on your porch in 3 hours. You don’t need to be fixed — and you can learn how to resist this pressure and be content with enough.

I’m a certified ADHD organizing specialist because…

I believe the world needs you to spend more time being creative and doing things you love, not distracted by things you don’t.

I’ve helped thousands of clients feel better at home, and nearly all of them have ADHD or some form of neurodivergence. I believe ADHD is a superpower, once you have strategies to work with your busy brain instead of overwhelming it with clutter.

You deserve to spend time immersed in activities that light you up (or your hyperfixation of the day), not looking for your keys again.

PS – did you check the fridge?

Keep / Toss List:

〰️

Keep / Toss List: 〰️

Keep:

  1. A positive mindset - decluttering is always a kindness toward your future self.

  2. A really cozy blanket.

  3. Sentimental items that can be used & cherished.

  4. A sticky note on your mirror reminding you what you want MORE of in your life (connection? time with friends & family? hobbies? movement?).

  5. A few really good pairs of jeans.

Toss:

  1. Guilt or negative self-talk.

  2. The idea that our home says absolutely anything about our worth as a human.

  3. Uncomfortable or ill-fitting clothes.

  4. Complicated or multi-step organization systems (the simpler, the better!).

  5. Duplicate/extra items (some of the 15 extra coffee mugs in your cabinet right now?).

Want to make a change, but aren’t sure what that could even look like?

Download the free minimal mindset workbook now. After you do it, you’ll have a strong, clear vision for what you want your life to look like and how you want your home to feel, and it will give you clarity and motivation to start the process of decluttering your home.

You were not put on this planet to be an inventory manager.

And with my help, that will no longer be your job description (unless, of course, that is your actual, 9-to-5 job — in which case, it stays in a professional capacity!). You were meant to be (and enjoy being) lots of other things. Let’s make more room for those things that truly matter to you.
